With crisp mornings like today, nothing truly means "fall" than getting apples from the orchard. OK..may be the turning of the leaves, the falling of the leaves, but hey.. you get what I mean! The family has a few traditions... one that my sister and I got to 'take over' and enjoy... I guess if the term ENJOY means slaving away, coring, peeling apples and pears for sauce...
yummmmmmmm apple sauce, apple dumpling, apple pies, crisp... do I need to continue? Long hours but worth every drop of sweat put into it. *********************************
