I used the caps I had leftover from last year... this came after cleaning out my retired stamps... and papers... and inks... whew, what a chore! {wink wink}...  

 

I made a few fun ones for the "comedians" I know!

Crafting for the Big day...

I have waited all my life for this moment...  and after being together over 7 years with 1SG, it happened..  5/03/2013. 

 

Here with my kids, and both our parents... now if the fathers would look like a little more enthused.

I painted the underneath of my shoes for fun shoe shots - too bad the weather earlier in the week was rainy and it mostly was mud when we walked out to the river.

 

These are the bracelets I made for the Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom, and my gram... the special ladies in our lives

Shower Thank yous - Summer Silhouette

My bridal dinner was 2 weeks ago. My MOH did a great job hosting the dinner at a local restaurant. There was 12 of us that enjoyed conversation and 2 people won some great prizes! 

Now its time for me to get out those Thank you cards. Using the colors and "theme" of the wedding, I made a handful of cards - since its been a long time since I have stamped, I wasn't sure where my mojo was going to be at this time. WARNING: Post is picture heavy.

 

Using the Eggplant as the card base and using the Lucky Limeade as a touch of color makes these cards pop! 

 

The simplicity of the white card with some paper piercing is fun too!

Different piercing with another flower from Summer Silhouette added isn't too bad!

I cannot promise that I will post again to after the big day... but you never know... sometimes a girl needs alittle down time!

Little Lani's Horse

My niece celebrated her 5th birthday with a horse party... It was fun, but wish I would have remembered I could have worn my cowboy boots.. oh well!  The kids had some of those blow up fun play yard items to play in, an Easter egg hunt and this fun little Cowgirl poster that we got our picture taken in! ... 

 

Yes, I have no shame... of course, I had to squat into the hole. 

My dearest niece, Lani Violet with her newest "pet" - Tessie...

 she nehs, walks and lights up.

Last... my rockin'  Horse card  ... I love the way it turned out ! Now I wish I made two of them so I had one for the stash... oh well. The main is freehanded cut, and I added some stickles to it. I used marker for her eye and lashed, with a splash of glitter for her eyeball.  Of course the Stocking Punch was her body and ear.

I didn't get to show off my little bunnies for Easter.  They were liked by the Teens a lot! Of course, having Gift cards in them - what not to love!  

 

I used the same bunny with the different In Colors, this makes the mass production line go faster! 

 

 I don't know which is my favorite, however I do believe they all kinda represent the personalities of the teens which received them!

Bloggers Challenge- BLING IT ON

Its a big year in the house again... Daughter turns 16 an Son turns 18.. and I think to myself, where did time go?? I know I am not old enough for this.. but its true!

  

Therefore, we have many teens that are turning 16! One as early as May 3, which happens to be another special day in the house, as 1SG and I are getting married. This is why I better get a handle on some of these birthdays and cards!

Todays card goes to a young lady whose celebration is PARIS inspired, with black & pink. 

 

Bloggers Challenge is BLING IT ON, which actually the challenge is what inspired me to get a handle on the handful of Sweet 16's we have coming up in the next few months!  The card is 4 x 9, a size I rarely ever make.

PDCCC35 - Easter

 

I wanted to get one challenge in this week - since tasked with making more Easter cards than I ever remember... but it was fun. I used the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch to complete a few cards. I used a retired set and papers since I am purging as well!
