Day 6... Just Add... PB Pretzel Bites...

LADIES... you are going to love this.. I mean love it!!!!!!... I couldn't wait to show you this... seriously do not hate me .. but I will include 2 things... recipe and instructions... deal? Plus you leave me some love and you get to be entered into BLOG CANDY drawing... so its a win win...

A very long time ago, I had instructions for a holder that held chocolate covered coffee beans.. and I used it for expresso beans... then I lost the instructions. And then I searched for it - and had nothing to put in it... and then I found it again and made PB Pretzels bites for in it! !

I used the Just Add Ink Color Challenge -- which was perfect for this!  a little pinky colored project!!!!

I had to windows in since I wanted you to see what was in there - and you have the option of not. I believe the large size fits a small bag of coffee, like those you get in gift baskets and such.

Peanut Butter Pretzel Bits  in a coffee bean holder

So lets see- do you want the recipe or the instructions first? Hmm...??? Lets see...??

OK... OK - Recipe it is... I am warning you... you cannot eat just one!

Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites  --  adapted from Martha Stewart Living

1/2 cup creamy Peanut Butter
1/4 cup, plus 1 Tbsp Confectioners Sugar
1 Tbsp, room temperature unsalted butter
1 cup pretzels, crushed
5 ounces melted milk chocolate

Directions
Stir together peanut butter, confectioners sugar, butter and crushed pretzels.
Roll into 1 inch balls. Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
Melt chocolate over low heat. Dip balls into melted chocolate and refrigerate until firm.

Enjoy! I suggest putting them in a container marked pigs feet or something so nobody would ever look for them - they do not last long... at all...If you do not believe me - in the time I have written this post, I have eaten two of them..seriously they are a weakness now...

**My batch only made about 15 balls, which I am not sure if that is because I thought 1 inch balls? seriously who wants just a 1 inch ball?  I could have crushed my pretzels down more but I wanted to be able to taste some of them not just the crunch.**

Ok, here is the deal - you leave me some love and I enter your name into a drawing for some Blog candy... now I can promise you that as the winner you will get all these items below - what I cannot promise you is that any of the Chocolate goodies left over will be mailed with it... OK? Deal?

Oh you are sticking around for the pattern? OK.. well here... this is the pattern directions.

COFFEE BEAN HOLDER
11 x 7 1/2 CARDSTOCK
         Score 11 side -  4  1/4, 4  3/4, 6  1/4,  6  3/4
         Score  7 1/2 side - 2 3/4,  4  3/4

Cut the 4 largest rectangles out (this would be up to the 4 1/4 score lines, the 6 3/4 lines -- does this make sense? If not I will try to put a visual together in a say or so.. sorry)

I used the large oval punch for my window. Then inserted a piece of transparency sheet to cover opening of oval.  Used the small oval, for the handle.
