YEAH FOR ME!!!!!

Today I am celebrating me! I am celebrating my promotion in my FT Corporate job! I am celebrating my positive attitude when I found out via blog surfing out that my upline in my SU! job left as of May 1 2011.  So I am celebrating... and why not celebrate with flowers! That I can even take into the office (at my FT job) without causing the allergic to everything any fits!!!!!

I really like the way they turn out! Even the little vase! These are my version of Gerber Daisy... and I will make more for sure!

I got the flowers and made some chocolate chip walnut cookies... now I guess I will go find some bling someone else can buy me! {wink wink}.

** GERBERS DAISIES: Using DAISIES #2 FLOWERS die - 4 of each (more or less depending on your fluffiness) using your stylus to curl your flowers. I used Poppy Parade with black inserts, Peach Parfait with Espresso inside,Daffadil with chocolate chip & the white (not shown) with daffodil. **

Have a great Sunday!   Thank you for stopping by!  Hug the ones you love!

It WAS beginning to look alittle like Spring!

We had some springtime weather over the weekend, however now its turned into this
almost winter like weather. Cold, blustery cold and winter jacket all over again!

Anyways.... Can you tell I am in need of some new supplies.. but there is something to be said about out with the old, in with the new. I decided that I was making flowers with whatever scraps I had left. These flowers were put into a bag for later use... not that I didn't want to use them right away.. but the 5 petal punch was only on loan... I really need to get one of these punches. However, I got this itch to make another pot of flowers! So I did!!!

I gave the flowers some 3D with scoring the inside of each petal. I connected the flowers with a brad, so they still moved... I inked the flower pot with Close to Cocoa and ran it thru the crimper 3 different ways, then took my score tool and pressed out the crimping. I like the textured look it gave. Of course I put the pot on some grass, completing the look.

Thanks for looking!

Nothing says Spring quite like flowers...

OK so I couldn't resist making a flower pot... I didn't realize it until upon completion, that with materials cut, you can make this in 15 minutes or less. If course most of your time is decorating it, with your flowers, embellishments, what have you but this was my first one.. This one is the one that I get to copy off of and never leaves that shop!

Inside and then the side view

I like the idea. I see alot of these in my future... for those allergic to scents, as well as a gift holder.. I mean you can put seed packets in here - or candies, or jewelry... its a great compliment to a bag this season!
