Serene Birthday

A masculine birthday card for my BIL. Quickly put together so it could be mailed off. I really like the way it turned out though I wasnt sure if it needed something else. 

 

I used the Serene Silhouttes with marker. Layered it on Early Espresso with  sentiment from Birthday Wishes. Using some DSP for a pop.

Blogger Challenge -Silhouettes

When I first looked at the challenge, I kinda freaked out.. I mean, my thought of silhouette was being interupted to something that may be beyond my means... hence the word "challenge"..

 

After great deliberation, I was so able to do this.

 

I wanted sunset. I wanted masculine... and there I am again stumped! So I kept at it.

 

Finally, this was my end result!

I must go clean up - I grabbed my chalks, and boy what a mess I made!!

Starfruit Birthday

While putting together some fast ans easy birthday cards, I noticed just as I finished- that my birthday was alittle slanted... DANG IT ! I hate when that happens but I know that was due to multiple distractions from my DAUGHTER! ... who really still loves the Daffodil Delight over this new Starfruit color! oh well...

 

So after I attempted to salvage parts of it, I completed it again and needed to get it up here so I could get it in the mail!

 

I inked the same silhouette up again and stamped it on the opposite side on the inside of the card... and added a simple saying.. and

WA LA! Complete!

It also qualifies for the Bloggers Challenge. Go ahead... only a few days left to play this week!!!
