Halloween Treat

I cannot really get into Halloween this year.. for whatever reason.. I am not grumpy about it - I just cannot GET the spirit.

I put these little baskets together for co workers, in the hopes of which some of the halloween spirit would flow.. but hey, there are still pumpkins to be cut and cider to be drank! In all due time may the spirit arrive!

I used the "box from the matchbox die to form the bottom of the pumpkin, which a small bag filled with candy corn {{ uuuuck!! }} fits perfect in there. I used the scalloped oval die for the pumpkin sides and the handles - just switched out the colors. I textured the pumpkin and sponged the outside.

I added the tag from Seasonal Sentiments, punched out with the small tag punch & attached with Old Olive ribbon - perfect and ready to go! .. well I might add a stem, in Old Olive, I am still debating...

What do you think???

Ingredients:
Stamps: Seasonal Sentiments
CS: real rust (shhhh, its retired, but I wanted to use it up!), Old Olive & Espresso, Confetti White
Ink: Chocolate Chip & Markers = Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive

Thank you for stopping by!

What an adorable little project! Thanks so much for sharing it. As for the stem and/or leaf, I think I'd do it ... just adds a little more cuteness!

Cute little gift! I agree with Pam, add a stem and some curly vines. Beautiful as is though and I am sure your coworkers will love them!

I love how cute these are without a ton of work. You have lucky co workers!
