You're on my Mind

Its been a very odd ... bizarre... last few weeks. I am almost afraid to drink the water around here. I have had to send more sympathy cards in the last  few weeks then ever.  Most have been those that finally are in a resting place... but still.  I really do not fair well with this type of situation. I hide beside the freezer downstairs in the laundry room - to wrap my head around these situations. Its almost my spot for when I lose it with the teens... lol... its my spot! .. anyways...

I have a few high school teachers that I am still in touch with. ... my teens do not understand this yet, but may when they graduate. They were great mentors to me! The one has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and its not looking good. She's been in my thoughts alot lately and I thought I better put something in her face - so she knows I am thinking of her.

Because I care:

This was the first time this stamp has seen INK...!!!! WHOA!!! Heck I had to put it together!  I do like the way it came together. I sponged (which isn't really noticable here) the cardstock - Marine & White - with Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake.

I popped the flowers up - and it really makes a difference! I used colored pencils and the blender pen for the stem. I made the stem just a tad thicker.

I used the seam binding, which I think I like, since it makes pretty bows for me almost effortless! . I finished off the card with the Upsy Daisy "you're on my mind" stamp. Then made a pretty little envelope that matched.

Have a great day!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hug the ones you love!
