WEAR RED DAY Pins

Friday February 3 was National Wear Red Day. 

Maybe you know it as GO RED FOR WOMEN!

What is  Go Red For Women? Go Red for Women encourages awareness of the issue of women and heart disease, and also action to save more lives. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power women have to band together and collectively wipe out heart disease. It challenges them to know their risk for heart disease and take action to reduce their personal risk. It also gives them the tools they need to lead a heart healthy life.

To help fundraise for GO RED FOR WOMEN, I made these Real Red Poppy Flower pins.  40, to be exact. I sold them as a donation to the American Heart Association.

I used the Daisies #2 Big Shot die for the flower pin. I used the small and large bloom, three of each. I also then used the SU! Tropical Floral die, for the greens.

 I used Real Red and Old Olive for cardstock. The pins have adhesive on them, so they stick fast.
