Bloggers Challenge - Alter It

This weeks Bloggers Challenge is Alter It!
Its perfect for me to show you some more open house items. Be prepared, its a picture heavy post. Today you can see the notepads - these are actually TO DO/ TO BUY lists that I found at a local bargain outlet. Frankly I love them myself, keeps the daily life alittle bit more at bay with the teens, activities, meetings, etc. PLUS, I can list what I need to buy in another column... is my OCD showing?

Lets get on with the pictures! The notepads measure 4 x 9 and are about 1/2 inch thick.

I used alot of the retired DSP that I had left (or that I have hoarded, whichever!) I added sentiments or little punched items  (flowers, birds) to the front before tying on a pen. These are great gift items!

My sentiments are from all over the place.

Here is the inside. I made a flap on the side for receipts, coupons, etc, so it was handy with your list. I love the one I keep with me, so I thought this would be a great gift. Even putting a gift card into the pocket, would be a great addition.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!  Hug the ones you love!

Little notepads

When you need paper to write something down, and its not available, do you get frusterated? Have you so many lists but lose them? I have lists for everything... I am sure there is a med for this behavior, but I do. I now have another car at my disposal - that I need to put a notepad in for my list obsession... for lack of better terms. I wanted it to be small, but useful and HAVE A PEN with it.. (second pet peeve- no pen when I need them) .

I found these cute little pads of paper and dressed them up! I like them so much I think I might put one in my purse... you know? I have used Tea Party paper and some other coordinating colors. Just little pearls for inside the flower punches.

They are a great addition to a birthday gift or just alittle simple 'thank you'. I am keeping these little guys at hand for any moments notice when I need something.. I guess I will put on my own 'list' to make more.. LOL.. what a cycle.
