Happy I DO day!!!!

Many of you can recall the moment you received an invitation to a wedding that you knew you would remember for a lifetime - right? I am not talking about JUST YOUR OWN.. but you know what I am talking about.. the wedding that is hosted by people that love to throw a good party, or its during a particular time of year, or you get to travel to some grande place that you have wanted to go but just needed the excuse... know what I mean???

Well, my fiancee received a wedding invitation, from one of his soldiers, the wedding day is December 31, 2010. Of course I was like NEW YEARS EVE ? I WANT TO GET MARRIED ON NEW YEARS EVE!!!! He paid no mind to me...LOL!! He filled out the RSVP by the given date and then said "Well, you better get a card ready"... I freaked out a little not knowing if we were attending or not, and when he smiled and said "NYE in Michigan, are you sure you can handle it??" WAHOOOOOOOO-- I will take NYE anyplace that I can get dressed up and be an adult!!!! {{ dance the jig}}

So ladies (and gents) the wedding card:

The close up of the flowers- which were cut by the Big Shot using the smallest flower on the Flower Fusion.

I used Concord Crush with just a touch of Pear Pizzazz. I wished for elegance, without too much fluff.. I added just a few pearls on some of them. Now I have to find a paded envelope to travel with - since we are flying out to Michigan and I do not want too much repair on arrival.
Now what to get as a gift???? UGH!

Great card! What about putting inside a stamp case for safe travel?

Have fun and enjoy Michigan. Been there during that time of year as a child, can you say SNOW and lots of it. Have a great time, the bride and groom are gonna love the card.

I hope the Lucky couple will have the sense to frame this as a keepsake.
