Totally Turquoise Tuesday
I have always been a fan of turquoise. It reminds me of the ocean, the beach, and anything that represents summer.
When you pair it with a bright like Only Orange (retiring), you have to put your sunglasses on to view it.
Today is Totally Turquoise Tuesday- please reach for your sunglasses...
I used the Birthday Bliss - Cake stamp and highlighted two spots. I like the layout, but wish the picture would show it off better.

I textured the Turquoise CS with the small polka dots in the Big Shot. I used circle punches for the Orange and the Kraft.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Tuesday!

You scream we all scream... for ICE CREAM!
OK, well the ones in my house aren't!
Who cares if its March... you cannot go wrong with a bowl (or cone) of some good ole ice cream!I 'waffled' the cone with using the crimper! It was so easy! AND FUN! Then I sponged the Kraft CS with some Close to Cocoa for the darker ridges. I popped up the ice cream scoops with dimensionals & no ice cream is complete without a little chocolate Syrup (which is embossed. I used some retired DSP for the pink tones, added some brads, ribbons and little square from Birthday bliss! WAH LA- 10 minutes card!
Now that we are all running to the freezer for a scoop or two of ice cream, I have to tell ya.. I had this for my birthday dessert ... no ice cream for me! .. cannot believe it. The kids were soooooo disappointed.. but they will get over it.. they can use the calories more than me!
Without further adue, I give you my birthday dessert... Mr. Mango Pie...

He was heavenly - all the chunks of mango that were nessled on the graham cracker pie crust... ooooooooooo its was soooo good! Just look at that gorgeous color! And... since it was my birthday IT WAS FREE!!!!! ... of course this was lunch... and my boss took me out for my birthday lunch.. so nonetheless... yumm yumm for me!!!

Its MY BIRTHDAY BLISS!
Hey, its my birthday!!!
I have to admit I got "celebrated out" from Dr. Suess's birthday growing up, so it kinda lost its flair for a while. Though many friends wishing me endless birthday wishes have helped me greatly overcome this, I still feel like with all the 'other' birthdays on this day - I do not celebrate ME enough. So, with that being said, not only am I celebrating ME today, I am taking ALL week and doing it. Now I do not get any fancy vacation- or wild parties, but I am making some birthday goodies all week long!
Todays card - Simple Birthday Bliss!
Using Birthday Bliss, from the SU! set, Birthday Bliss, which you can get FREE with a $50! purchase until the end of March! I used the large oval punch and scallop oval punches for the sentiment. I added some rhinestones to the sentiment oval and on the top corner of the card. I used the Tab punch to make the cups.. .you can do - just check out your scraps! I used the Square punch for the Rockabilly DSP squares. Of course the Rockabilly DSP is retired but its still a big favorite of mine. The cups are on dimensionals!
Happy Birthday Wishes go to:
Dr. Suess (Duh!), Jon Bon Jovi (musican), Yahoo (15 years!!), Daniel Craig (actor), Luke Pritchard (the Kooks), Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers), Desi Arnaz (actor), Chris Martin (Coldplay), Cory Zellers & my loveliest aunt Carol Negley (Lakeland, FL) & ME!!!!!
