I wanted some untraditional colors for some cards... and Lucky Limeade was staring at me... so I took advantage of it, and really like the outcome!

Its simple and not over bearing! I do wish I would have moved the snowflakes up  - but I like the bling on the pop up of the center one!

I made a handful of these for mailing, but haven't got to the mailing part... OOPS!!!!

Indigo moments...

Its such a pretty color isn't it? That Island Indigo???... it mixes well with Limeade and Daffodil... right?   Or have my eyes left me in a world where nobody knows my name?? {just kidding}}



LNS Challenge 129 - Inspiration



I put this together and right away I was like DANG, this color rocks! ... looking forward to using it more...

 I have kept with my promise to make the inside "pretty" in the cards... just keep forget to show you most of the time!  I have even made the envelope "pretty" as well.. "pretty" is the term used at the house when the teens want me to help with something... "make this pretty"...

I must really get working on my photo tent, some of these shots have a lot to be desired... how can I love the color if you cannot see it yourself!

Chocolate Limeade...?

Trust me when I saw the color challenge I thought UCK!!!! I knew my teens might drink such a thing but it rather put a sour taste in my mouth! Thankfully it was the Stampin Addicts Friday Color Challenge
But its not too bad when you look at it in another light!!!!

I used the new MY FRIEND stamp set with HOPE HAPPENS. It all really sorta fell together.  I used the Chocolate Chip button on the ribbon, though I am not sure you can see this well.

We are off to enjoying some State Park fun for the day! Where we hike, kayak and then put our butts in the lake to cool off for a bit! I love it when summertime family time can be spent like this.

I'll just be a friend....

I haven't been in the craft room alot... we finished baseball playoff's, then vacation, then my garden just freaking took over the yard.... and do not forget about the corporate world... so I didn't have much time to get in there and look at anything much less then actually put ink to stamp to paper! ... but ideas.. oh they are just flowing... thankfully I still have the journal beside the bed for all those! .. but do not worry, I will get some ideas crammed out while I 'supervise' the teens painting the windows in the craft cave! WAHOOO!!!!

However, last night, I got out of dinner duty (thank you Wil) and made these two cards. I found them in the Spanish catalog of SU! ... and changed them up just a tad...

This is the new LIMEADE cardstock that is a 2011-2013 In Color... don't you love it?  I paired it Perfect Plum, Red Riding  Hood and Crumb Cake (thanks to my Color Coach - since I wouldn't have done that combo!
