Thanks so much

It was a weekend full of activities for the entire house. No official fireworks were seen by the naked eye.. just some over the all the social media. We enjoyed many picnics, without eating too much! I even was able to squeeze in some black raspberry pickin. Alot of fun. Now its back to reality.

My husband received some books by a friend and I put together this masculine card for him to send out. I have a hard time with some keeping it simple - so I hope the many layers and the brads push it thru the post without extra postage (wink wink).

Have a great day!

Open Sea - Birthday

Its my father in laws  {{how weird is that to say?}} birthday recently and since hes very much into the nautical/ ship yard stuff  I figure this was pretty safe.

FIL is on the right

As I was putting this together, I googled a sailor knot.. tried three times, and then whatever it was it was and it was added to the front of the card.

I added dimensions to the ships sails - after cutting them out - which take my advice and never try!! They are tiny tiny pieces...

Happy Birthday Clay! Hope it was a good one!  Thanks for stopping by! Hug the ones you love and have a great day!

Graduation

Two weeks ago I was given the opportunity to get a few simple graduation cards. .

I used a lot of retired DSP paper. I had limited "graduation"  stamps to use - which meant I have to purchase more {wink wink}.

I wanted simple non gender cards, since I know only a handful of graduates this year, but it will get me started on next year, as my son graduates...

Using the Open Sea set, I created more of a college male grad card, for my stash.

And of course I had to use some letters, banners and fun texture.
