Cabana birthday

Birthday wishes with Secret Garden flowers is a great combo with the Smokey Grey. I saw the colors used in a living room & thought they would work for paper too!

Have a great day! Enjoy your day!

In my thoughts

I love finding new ways to use up scraps when I am cleaning up my craft cave.

I used some flowers & leaves for this sympathy card. The DSP was perfect size for the middle of the card & I just had to add a sentiment.

Here is the latest addition to the family... my daughter recently got a puppy. It is really her puppy (she paid for it after much research), and I am thankful since I am looking forward to doing less since my children are teens now.
Puppy is a Yorkshire terrier, now 9 weeks old, her name is Haven, since my daughter would like to attend Lock Haven University. Haven is alittle sassy, so catching her like this is few & far between.

Birthday Bouquet

Today at Bloggers Challenge is FLOWER POWER! And though I wanted to really put together a wild flower card, I really needed to keep it simple for a birthday card.

I used the Secret Garden framelits along with the stamps and popped them up, then added some pearls to there center.  The sentiment is from Cycle Celebration.

I used the color Challenge from The Paper Players and the sketch from CAS(e) This sketch

Spring Ahead

Artwork by 1SG

Since the clocks have moved forward, I have been quite a mess! I have been napping, which I never do, and I do not even have the interest in blogging, creating, or pinning... quite strange behavior - I know!

Bloggers Challenge was Think Spring! and I used the Mojo Monday sketch to get me back on the horse.. which I think I must be riding side saddle! -- not my favorite but its something!

I used the flowers from Secret Garden and then added a pearl in the center.

My dear friend Kim reminded me that she is Guest designer for March at Color Throwdown, so I went over and checked out this weeks challenge... very spring like colors indeed!
