Halloween fun

I wanted to get a head start with some of the Halloween goodies.. mainly because it will be just a matter of moments before my head spins off...I have two going to Homecoming (next weekend), Fall camping (this weekend), one participates in the Army Ten Miler race (DC- next weekend), Oktoberfest (this weekend) and whatever else they throw at me. Fun of parenting teens right?

I used the Retro Sketches Challenge for some cards, since it really helps me getting rid of some of this Halloween scraps! I am sorry I missed the challenge date but the sketch itself was fun!

Using the Frightful sight DSP, give me some options and color combinations I am alittle nervous about but what the heck.. Here is a card with some Pumpkin fun - maybe too dark but still festive!

I used the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday for a few others.

Wacky Wishes

I had a fun time getting some Valetines cards completed. With the 3 hearts punch, some DSP and Wacky Wishes, BOOM your done!!! Thats great!!!!

I used the colors from the Nacho Average Challenge and Retro Sketches.

RETRO SKETCHES

All of my cards were made within 10 minutes... actually 7:34.

CRAFT DASH

When I added the rhinestones, it made it 8:43, which still is under the Craft Dash 10 minute rule!

Go Ahead and play along!!  Still time with all the challenges!  Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! Hug the ones you love!

Be my Valentine

I really am bad when it comes to Valentine cards. If 1SG didn't send them to his parents, I might not make them. I managed a few over the weekend. Don't get carried away, they are pretty clean and simple BUT I like them.

It took me a few tries with the camera to get the embossing on the cardbase, but I think you can see it!

Using the Challenge from Create with Connie and Mary was great way to get my Valentine Mojo on..

And I love love this layout from CAS(e) this sketch! I might use this for all his valentines this year!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great night and hug the ones you love

Batty kinda day!

My kids have recently mentioned they are finished with Trick or Treating.. its sad, because I always like it, but I guess its a part of their growning up! I still wanted to get them something fun for the holiday, so I decided they would each be getting a movie gift card. Afterall, it seems to be the thing to do when your "bored".

Using the Clearandsimple Critter die cut set, and stamps I recently purchased, I made them tent cards. I just used removable sticky for the cards on the back of the cards.

While cutting out the bats for cards, I made some extra, to put together a garland to hang on the table that will house the bowl of trick or treat candy.... none of which is currently in the house... thankfully!

I used dental floss to put them together, however will send one of the kids to search down the fishing line, once they return from school. The cards measure 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.

I used the Dynamic Duos Challenge as well as the Halloween theme from Going Grey with Scrap Creations
