Shake Shake Shake ... your Valentines!

These were the most fun to make! I wanted clean, fun and slightly different from the norm... and with the colors of those hearts, I could use purple, pink or red for the Valentine's cards.

There's are two different sizes of the "confetti" hearts.

Coral & Grey for Valentines day

I wanted to try different colors for Valentine's.

I really liked the Coral with grey and with some embossing in the back it all came together.

Sending love

I couldn't resist putting these together.. it was fun & used up small pieces that I had laying around. Mailing them out wasn't an easy task but with alittle more postage who wouldn't love receiving these?

I made a few more Valentine's I hope I will get to share too! Can't decide which is my favorite.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Look after my heart

I have been waiting to get my valentine mojo back on, and well, it might have arrived. Though I am not sure I will use this as a Valentine, but as a card when I am travelling. The 1SG and I have left notes for one another since we started dating, and though we have been together for 7 years, it hasn't stopped.  Heck, he went hunting and I make sure I slip a little note in his lunch bag to know that I am thinking of him and wishing him well.

I used one of the Paper Make up Stamps with a simple Black and Red theme from Dynamic Duos

I used the small heart punch for the hearts on the side, and put some rhinestones within the sentiment. Just above I added ribbon and a clear heart button with bakers twine in it.  A simple little valentine!

Be Mine

Just a quick Valentine today!

I used the Craft Dash colors, and made the card in 7:45  PERFECT!!! I hesitated with my stamp sets, and am still considering a few others.  I used the sketch challenge over at Retro Sketch, and flipped it.

Be my Valentine

I really am bad when it comes to Valentine cards. If 1SG didn't send them to his parents, I might not make them. I managed a few over the weekend. Don't get carried away, they are pretty clean and simple BUT I like them.

It took me a few tries with the camera to get the embossing on the cardbase, but I think you can see it!

Using the Challenge from Create with Connie and Mary was great way to get my Valentine Mojo on..

And I love love this layout from CAS(e) this sketch! I might use this for all his valentines this year!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great night and hug the ones you love

Uniquely Yours

Normally, my kids get non-traditional cards for holidays, such as Valentines... just like when my son got a boxer card.  They love it! I love it! It eases the pain of being 'just like the others'.  Of course, most of their cards end up in my example stash in the long run anyway! {{yes I am one of those}}. This year will be no different for them. However I have decided that those I mail will also not be out in the red/white/pink color combo!... yeah, I am living on the edge!!

I pulled in the In Colors to make this years' Valentines for those that I will make. I love the Calypso Coral, with the white and  Pool Party as well... I wanted simple. I wanted fast and unique. Nothing gender oriented. They are  fun.

Sometimes simple is too clean for me. Sometimes, like here I add bling and its not obvious until the light catches it. Good, bad or indfferent.. guess it depends.

{{XO}}lent

Remember when I told you I wouldn't stick with you a lot of Valentines..?? And now its the next day, and guess what? I have a card with a heart on it... so I didn't really fib, I just knew I had to get this out there before Saturday!  It shouldn't be that painful for you! ... ok.

I used my favorite Melon Mambo DSP, as the focus of the card. Cut by free hand {{o please be kind}}, the Melon heart, sponging the edges. I made an arrow with the sentiment from PS I LOVE YOUon whisper white. I tied some bakers twine and secured with a clear button.

I snuck this into 1SG's overnight bag, since he is out of town for the weekend - so I knew I could post today, while hes travelling.
