Lovely Butterfly Birthday

Birthdays in September are hard for me to keep track of since they are just past the start of school. This year I am trying to beat the clock and have a few in my stash for the occasion.

I love the colors of this one - since I love the Pool Party mixed with Crumb cake it just soothes the soul. My own CASE of this will be with Coral.

Thank you for stopping by! Hug the ones you love!

Happiest birthday!

Have you tired of the birthday card craze yet? I am sorry I do have a lot of birthdays for September... not to worry, I will have something else later!

This was fun to put together with a sketch I saved from awhile ago, sometimes I remember where I put them {wink wink}.  I used some retired DSP, polka dots (starfruit & razzleberry), embossed the Indigo CS, added ribbon and presto! I was complete!  Not so bad with a few extra touches.. rhinestone to the butterfly and arrow clip!   I made up a cute little gift to accompany it  - using coordinating DSP then added 2 Hershey Nuggets !!

Perfect  little set ...

Butterfly Birthday Wishes

Holy Moly... what a week.. weather has been rainy and fall like... even though its August... guess I shouldn't complain.. but wow... I cannot seem to keep that outside chores up with all this weather change.

On a good note my daughter is at the shore with my sister and niece, and having a great time!  Though I am not sure who manages NOT to have a good time when away like that...

Another August birthday crept up on me and I quickly had to grab some stuff that was out... I used the Apothecary Accents frame and put some texture on it before adding the frames and sentiment.  I used some bakers twine for the butterfly and rhinestones for more shine.

Now I am going to have to clean up my craft cave - things are getting out of control and really testing my OCD. {{just kidding.. or not}}  I do have to get some American things put together for son's  Welcome home party/Labor day celebrations.  It will be nice to have him home!!

Can you find me, Cupid?

I love to add just a tad bit more 'fun' in the normal work day. It has its limits, I still try to be 'creative'... since I think I am good at it.  Over Christmas, I make elves and hid them all over the office.  They ladies love it. The men shake their heads, but join in the fun.  At the end of the holiday, I make treats and bring in ...so everyone wins!

Today, its Cupids..

Of course I couldn't do this without Ellen Kempers original design - I manipulated mine with some of other punches available. They were fun and easy, so I made 8 of them.

So my hiding places are in the copier/ mail room, near the water cooler, coffee break room, ladies restroom, near doorways, and some offices -near the stapler or tape - its never the same - and just because you saw them their once doesn't mean they will be back there again in the afternoon... now does it...

Work time fun... someone has to do it!

Butterfly

I thought this would be a great way to introduce the new In Colors with a new Core colors .. simple and fun..

Here it is:

I textured the cardstock, and used the Butterfly punch. Then used the linen thread to make antennaes and little glue dots to secure them so they could still 'fly'. I used the sentiment from FULL OF LIFE as an added bonus.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Ingredients: Stamp: Full of life; Cardstock: Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Concord Crush & Daffodil Delight; Ink: Black; Others: Butterfly punch, textures plates (Big shot), linen thread
