Get Well

  To all the sickies out there.. STAY HOME!!!! 

Yes, I know that its "that time of year" and that somethings happen, however, sometimes its better if you stay home than try to work, since you are just infecting the rest of us!  The current nirovirus that is sweeping the nation, is just...well... dangerous. Knock on wood, we haven't had it visit our house, but at work and school .. oh yeah.. by the numbers...

I put together some get well cards. Perfect use of the SU! Pop Up Posies Designer kit, just like I used yesterday.  Of course using the Pool Party makes even better. 

    

 I used the Mojo Monday sketch, to put this together. It was fun and the touch of Indigo makes it fun! Go ahead, give it try!

Uniquely Yours

Normally, my kids get non-traditional cards for holidays, such as Valentines... just like when my son got a boxer card.  They love it! I love it! It eases the pain of being 'just like the others'.  Of course, most of their cards end up in my example stash in the long run anyway! {{yes I am one of those}}. This year will be no different for them. However I have decided that those I mail will also not be out in the red/white/pink color combo!... yeah, I am living on the edge!!

 I pulled in the In Colors to make this years' Valentines for those that I will make. I love the Calypso Coral, with the white and  Pool Party as well... I wanted simple. I wanted fast and unique. Nothing gender oriented. They are  fun. 

Sometimes simple is too clean for me. Sometimes, like here I add bling and its not obvious until the light catches it. Good, bad or indfferent.. guess it depends.

U ROCK!

Lets start with the bad news...

We have water! .... Its flooding like mad here in Central PA!

We will NOT be attending the Washington DC festivities for the Nations Tri!

Now the good news...

I have power!

I have my family!

..and my daughters mold allegeries are in check (fingers crossed it remains)!

So therefore I need a feeling of appreciation... like the world isn't crumbling around me... because its soggy enough that it definately feels that way!...  So I put some scraps together...in the new cool Pool Party color!

I paired the Pool Party with River Rock, using the Grunge Rock stamp set- gives it the edge that I wanted, plus, it was cut and laying on the table.. LOL.  I will definately be taking this to another level but at the moment this helps make me feel better!
