Pretty Petal Pizazz

So does this card look familiar? Yes, its a CASE from a Stampin Up! magazine.

I love the metal look of this card but I do not have the metal tags, so I had to make one!

FAUX METAL TAG: I used Aluminum foil (glued on a piece of scrap paper) and circle punches to make the tag! Depending on the side of the circle tag you want - would depend on the punches used. Punch your smallest circle first, then your larger one OUTSIDE it. It was simple and easy, and I made a bunch of these, so I could just pop on a sentiment when I needed it and then off in the mail it would go!

Ingredients:

Stamps: Petal Pizazz, Spreckled (roller); CS: River Rock (returning! July 1), Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery; Celery ribbon, faux metal tag, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for using more Designer Paper...

As you know, one of my 'issues' is not using enough designer paper. So I had a few Thank you cards that I was to make and of course wanted to use the jumbo eyelets that I have been eying up for some time.... so I came up with this.

The inside has designer paper on it- which I did compose my thank you message on, but it was light enough. The only trick I had was using a pen that would write on it.. but I blame the pen and not the paper (wink wink) since I am sure they are old and I need new ones (wink wink)

I know its been a while since I have posted. I have limited days left until my sweetie deploys - so I have been spenting every moment I can with him... HE EVEN WENT GROCERY SHOPPING WITH ME... so I guess it is L-O-V-E.. ha ha. Its my first true deployment and not military school - so its different for me, however, with all the stuff on my 'honey do' list, I will be kept busy for the most part of the year plus hes gone. I do believe hardily he will return before we know it and life will continue as is.

God Bless all the soldiers/sailors for their hard work and giving us our freedom.

Making it simple

There are days where I need cards, look thru my stash and want something simple... something that doesn't really SAY anything at all. Well I didn't have that, so I had to put one together. Its a simple card - white on red, which can be cheery or elegant, but you can make it anything you want. I didn't think I was going to put words on the front, nor did I want alot of embellishments. Simple.. remember simple!

So I scored the top of the Whisper White card stock, tied my sheer ribbon to it, and then stamped just one bloom on it.

And why make one, when you can make two very easily.

Flower pot frenzy

I like the idea, but haven't sent one yet... I guess there isn't enough white space for me to write and sent to someone! LOL I am kidding, but I love these, every time I make them. Its too simple, I made a bunch them- put them in my work bag for my card stash at work. These are small enough, they will purk someone right up!!!

Cardstock: Kraft, whisper white
