Fun Festive Feet
Its hot this year! I jumped on the wagon too!
Why not?
I made elf feet, and used licorice as the legs ... aren't they cute?
I put the licorice in the 1x 8 cello bags, Adhered some DSP to the bag, and made a cute paid of shoes. Then I thought he needed pants. I just wrapped a small piece of cardstock around the legs, and wa- la - alittle pants for the elf!
Easy peasy and fun!
I have some more I will attach to gifts too!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hug the ones you love!
Have a great day!

While I should have been making my Dad's birthday card... I put this together first.. so yea, go ahead -- pour the guilt on... like my daughters wasn't enough.... {{sigh}}
I wanted to try something slightly different for some of the card making class I would be holding - after getting it all put together, I am still undecided. I think I might keep them as my neighbors cards for the holidays though.

Cocoa bag
I have made many cocoa holders, in all sizes, and closures, but seeing this version by Dania Welch, I manipulated the size (since the papers in which I had weren't sized this way) but the concept is still the same.

I soaked the Garden Green strip with water, and then crumbled it, so it was able to be manipulated in the manner I wanted it.
The closure on the bag is velco, which is good, since it can with stand alittle more weight, should your cocoa packet be alittle heavier than this 25 Calorie Cocoa {{wink wink}}

Inside - cocoa holder with sentiment - I hid where the packet says 25 Calories so noone would be scared. Of course, my kids would like them to be hidden so they didn't have to drink those, however I figure its just an invitation to have more marshmallows in the cup - right?

There is space for another packet to be put on the opposite side, maybe for marshmallows, or a gift card, or something - just by adding another little pocket on the other side.
Ingredients:Stamps: Tags til Christmas, Sweet Season
Cardstock- Candy Cane DSP, Garden green (used as faux ribbon), whisper white, Red Riding Hood
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Scallop edge punch, snowflake punch, Tab punch, square punch, real red button, linen thread, velcro

Donning the Dasher
September 15 + Dasher = "I am getting my Christmas list together then" spoken from the teens when they say me putting this together. Then I got the "Do you really have to start making Christmas cards already? " Sometimes I do not even answer then, afterall, I am in the midst of creating and I can act like I dont hear them... right? Right on!
I didn't get Dasher until this year, and I am alittle sad I didn't get him earlier... the possibilities are just endless - including only using his 'antlers' as a background for cards... Who can resist those little spirls with the snowflakes? Heck it was the first thing my fiancee said was "ohhhh you can use him alot."... Ok, he is an artist as well - but hes a hunter too - so go figure - I thought he would be gungho over a manly stamp in the house... LOL
