Did someone say Chinese??

OH its been a long time since I was out for some good Chinese. It usually a special night with my son, when I do get the chance to go. When I got a Big Shot, I know I just recently got one.. I hear all those gasps.... this was one of the dies that I knew I had to have... and since then, I think I have made 15 of them! Seriously, I haven't filled ONE of them up but I have cut them, decorated them, and put them on my table and sit back and oooooohhhhhhhhh and aaaaaahhhh... silly huh? Well NO MORE! I am taking my chinese take out ... OUT! I have a few coworkers that have 'bugging' me to see some new creations... and therefore, I am putting together these take out boxes and gifting them. Maybe including a few binder clips, calendar and post it note, sweets - for little gifts... guess you will have to stay tuned!

This one particular is made with Tangerine Tango DSP, and some ribbon I have hoarded (.. she stands up and says "hello I am Chera and I am a ribbon hoarder"..) and used two flowers to attach it at the top. I once received a few pieces of jewelry that had the ribbon thru flowers and it was just breathtaking..the jewelry and the packaging!

Is it just adorable? I have to say - I will keep a few for me just to look at!! I have used my retired DSP or other stuff that has been sitting around dying to be used.. you know we all have it.. the stuff we HAVE TO HAVE and then never use it.

10 minute card- Tango with that!

It was great to sit at a table and whip up a few cards... there wasn't alot of time, but I got out a few that I needed.... what do you think?

Here is a close up of the card, which I cut about 1 inch off the side so I could off set the flower. The inside is currently blank. I used up some Tangerine Tango DSP and CS, I had left over. Which I really like to pair up with brown and green. I added the brown bow- but may change out for a button.

One more basket-- please

Too simple not to have been made by me before... I mean really... These were the baskets used, for the family candy on Easter. I used the DPS Tangerine Tango since it was spring like looking and not too girly....certainly I didn't want to offend anyone with the colors, but heck I do not think they even noticed the basket when it was full of chocolate! LOL!

Finally... A CARD!!!

Yes, I know I can hardly believe it myself... but with some of the creative juices left from a great Stamp Camp I attended on Saturday morning, I finished up the cards that I needed for a swap. Though these pictures do not show true colors, you will get the idea.

I used Tangerine Tango and Glorious green Cardstock. I have been eyeing these colors up on the fashion magazines for a while, and finally just put them to use. I added alittle pink, which orginally was going to be a layer behind the Whisper White, but I never managed to cut it down, and noticed it while I was cleaning up... "oh look.. the pink!"... oh well. Since I am such a ribbon hoarder, I used this Orange polka dot printed ribbon.

I borrowed the stamp set Sweet Stems from a stamping buddy, in which I have given serious thought to purchasing myself... with the possibilities that is has! Just my luck, I will get it and it will retire. Oh well! I just dapped alittle Frosted Ice Stickles on the white part of the flower, after I markered the others with pink, orange, and green.

For the inside I managed to repeated the same flower, and just simply use my white gel pen, on the flower, which is on the lower right hand corner.
