who would ever tire of this?

 

In the meantime, I will count down the days/hours/minutes until vacation and never want to come back... uhhhh...

This little hula girl has been in my stash uninked for YEARS!!! {sad, i know}. Today she shines... with the help of Freshly Made Sketches!  I loved the burlap behind her!

Just a quick girlfriends card for today! 

 I haven't much time, since I want to catch some girl time with my friend who is in with her family from AZ. It seems that we have this every three year visit going on, and that has only been the last 12 years... and we have known each other since high school.  Some time is better than no time! 

HERE'S TO BEING GORGEOUS! 

I used this great sketch from Iwona, aka Chupa and then the colors from Dynamic Duos. What fun to play along with!

Sweet Santa

I am sure many of you own stamps that just make you laugh. You may not use them very often, but you always get a chuckle you look at it. This is one of mine! 

 

I just stamped her in black and then colored her hat & heart in the mug, otherwise, she is left untouched. 

 

I wasn't sure what to match her with, but using some of the DSP from Be of Good Cheer was perfect as was the sketch from Sweetest Thing. 

  

I have quite a few friends this year that will enjoy this card!

You didn't think I was going to forget PINK did you?

I was finishing up a explosion box for a birthday and remembered I needed PINK, its Friday! I could only use what I had at my fingertips, since I needed to head to bed. I liked the glittery dresses for the ladies, and added more purple ribbon this morning, when I was making kids breakfasts.

With the cool air upon us, I really just want to relate to being on the sand again!

This is from the Emerson collection, from American Art stamps.
What this picture cannot tell you - is that I used some glitter on the sand to make it sparkle, and crystal effects on the two starfish. Everything else is water colored. This sits in my inbox when I am away from my desk, "In a meeting"
