Coral & Grey for Valentines day

I wanted to try different colors for Valentine's.

I really liked the Coral with grey and with some embossing in the back it all came together.

Thanks for stopping by. Hug the ones you love. Have a fantastic day!

Coral kind of Christmas

My challenge.. use Coral CS & Ink.. my daughters challenge... on a Christmas card!

GAME ON

I mixed the Coral with light grey and silver... and I love it! I wasn't sure about it at first, but it adds come elegance to the fact that its a christmas card. As a matter of fact, it screams out to me to be the card I am giving my grandmother! I was beginning to think my daughter just wanted me out in the craft cave so her and her brother wouldn't be bothered! They are like that I am finding out.. distract mom so she doesn't see .. A B or C.. LOL.. they are teens so I guess it goes with the age!

This second card - I had to let the ribbon dry since I used the coral ink and inked up the ribbon - so as easy as this card looks it was just a smidgen longer to make since I did the ribbon. Again, happy with the coral color. For depth, I added rhinestones to a few of the snowflakes. IRL they are shinier.

Stamps: Serene Snowflakes, Four the Seasons
CS: Coral, Grey and Silver
Ink: Coral, Grey, White
Snowflake punch, silver ribbon, white ribbon turned coral, rhinestones

Clean n Simple Snowflakes

I know that we have some gorgeous fall season temperatures out there this week, but part of me has been turning on the Christmas clock. Part of that is due to some of the stores already getting their decorations out for the winter holiday! ALREADY? What about Halloween??? Just do not turn the music on yet, or I will be without Christmas spirit by Thanksgiving.

What I have here is a SIMPLE card. Just basic stamping... sometimes we forget about the simple stuff. ... so I just thought - theses beautiful snowflakes speak for themselves, not alot of glit needed for them.

This is another stamp set in the new SU! Holiday Mini Catalog that was just released on Tuesday. I like it!

Here's hoping its a good day

I had just a small amount of time to play with some new stamps by SU!, so they had to be simple. I like the colors, and of course those little dew drops on the side. I only wish I would have tried the lighter grey color.

I love the handwriting on the sentiments.

Perfect in Plum

I needed to update my box of cards for work. The box that sits at my desk for when I 'miss an occasion' or do not want to, and for those that know I have it, they will also purchase cards for occasions... ANYWAY, I needed to get more in there, and swap out some that have been in there. I started to make this card, and knew it wasn't ever going to make it in the box, heck, I knew exactly who was getting it.

She is surrounded by men in her family... shes a mother of 3 boys, all under 6.. or something.. so young that I cannot believe she so sane! Ha ha. Its been nice getting to know her and her family over the last few weeks and the lucky gal gets to celebrate her birthday while on vacation! Lets hope the hubby votes for some Adult time on this day!!!

It's alittle of everything. Some punches, some pearls, some cut outs and laying. I chose Perfect Plum and Grey, since I haven't used either color in any way in a long time. As a matter of fact, I cannot even remember the last time I used Perfect Plum. I have to mentally make note to use more often.

I used more of the Perfect Plum paper on the inside of the card, with the Eyelet punch before laying Whisper White on it, to put my birthday sentiment on.

Alittle fuzzy- sorry, but the card as a whole!

I will swap out the current colors for some others. Of course, I need to remember the Perfect Plum while I do some of them!!

Thanks for looking!

Bombshell Stamps

My fiancee's best friend owns a vintage shop in Detroit, MI. He loves the 40s-50's deadstock and makes a living on others that do as well.

Well - he just had a birthday, and I was stuck on what in gods names to I send him.... afterall, I only know a few things about him. So my fiancee found a bottle of Sailor Jerry's rum... awesome stuff.. wish I kept it for me, however, it then inspired this card. I wanted to give a look of a private club... I am sorry that I didn't get the pictures of the final card, just the process... but atleast its something...

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY VIC!!!!
