Tagtastic!

While I was out, I had two friends water my vegetable garden, and am so glad I asked for their help! Now its time to show them how much I appreciated all their time with the hose, and the pickin of the ripe vegetables! Thank you girls!

I love the pillow box for the Big shot because its so versatile. I love it because I can slip a gift card in it, stash it in my purse and off I go when I need it. I love that I can decorate it all up  -whether with flowers or with more masuline items.  If you do not have this... get it, you will not be sorry!

SU! has a new stamp set that coordinates with punches, and I fell in love with them immediately! I knew it was my MUST have right from the start!

I used the Island Floral die for the Flowers - in the  beautiful Pool color that is a 2011-2013 IN COLOR! I love it!!! Its just so summery!

Here the boxes are together! I did manage to make four of these just to have on hand for future needs. I try to be prepared like that... or I am just obsessed with the 3D items... I cannot imagine that!

Who wouldn't love this color combination? I of course, am keeping it for my stash!  Thank you Color Throwdown!

Day 2... wHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO loves you?

I have a funny story--- my mother LOVES OWLS.. she decorated nicely with her owls - of all types in the house. It was ten years ago when my dad took a stand and said no more owls.. almost like choosing the owls or him. Its been 10 years since she has received another 'owl' in the house.  When I saw these owls in all forms, I knew I had to make them, especially for my mother.    As for my father, I am sure he doesn't remember... plus they are from the GRANDCHILDREN... I do not believe they will be denied!!

 Snow Owl & Pinky White

The 'snow owl' represents my son, since he has shown great interest in owls, particularly the snow owl, and it will house dark chocolate.  The pretty girly pink one will represent my daughter and will be stuffed with white chocolate.

Santa Sack...

Every year, I have to make a faux Santa outfit as a basket/ box/ etc, for a friend of mine. She expects it. She keeps it. She loves them. So every year I try to 'remember what I did in the past' and then move forward. This year, am thinking early.. you know Christmas is like 2 months away now.... {{YIKES}}

So this is what I came up with:

Using the pillow box, I formed this basket, in which I am not sure what I will put into it .. I cannot give out all my secrets... whatever it is will be filled in a black sack!

I textured the White, using the swirls textured plate from the Big Shot and used a copper antiqued slide for his 'belt buckle'. I love the outcome & I am sure she will too! ... now its off to fill it with goodies!

Ingredients: Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black
Punches: Tab
Black Brads, Black ribbon & coper antique copper ribbon slide

Pillow box Pretzels

I have been looking at making a basket with the pillow box for a while.. this was my first shot.. not bad.. It fits 4 large pretzels that I have dunked in Peanut Butter and then Chocolate! I used the Glassine bags from SU! to house the confections!

Enjoy! .. or just let your mouth water...

The flower it just the 'flip top' of the pillow box; the stuff I cut off for the 'crown look'. The greens from the two step bird worked well here.

Thanks for stopping by.
