Bloggers Challenge- BLING IT ON

Its a big year in the house again... Daughter turns 16 an Son turns 18.. and I think to myself, where did time go?? I know I am not old enough for this.. but its true!

Therefore, we have many teens that are turning 16! One as early as May 3, which happens to be another special day in the house, as 1SG and I are getting married. This is why I better get a handle on some of these birthdays and cards!

Todays card goes to a young lady whose celebration is PARIS inspired, with black & pink.

Bloggers Challenge is BLING IT ON, which actually the challenge is what inspired me to get a handle on the handful of Sweet 16's we have coming up in the next few months!  The card is 4 x 9, a size I rarely ever make.

Coffee and Coral

I may have told you before but I love the Calypso Coral... so when I say this dress, I was like OH MY HEAVENS! .. .who knows if I can even wear such a thing, but I would try!

Three Sirens
So, no surprise when I saw this challenge! It was going to happen no matter what!

I love the Early Espresso tones with the Coral, its earthy, and just wows me!  I grabbed my Fun Flower die and some coffee filters and went to town. Then I used a dobber and inked it up.

After putting the flowers together I added some glitter to the center and then rhinestones at the bottom to add just a touch more bling!

This technique is fun to do! And simple simple simple!
Go ahead, give it try yourself!!!!

HAPPY I DO ....

If time is not on your side to really THINK about a wedding card... why in the world so you do???? I had this issue... actually this am... at 0530, when the alarm when off and I said " I cannot believe its May 26!" I then put my feet on the floor and turned around where I got TWO LARGE BLUE EYES looking at me and said..."UMM Seriously? I need to get a wedding card out to Wise" (sp?)... I was alittle terrified... I knew of this wedding.. didn't realize WHEN it was, and knew that due to travel it wasn't going to be possible to go.

Off to the craft cave I went..

I spent about 15 minutes looking to see what was cut already, and what I could put together. And then I knew that I only had a short amount of time to put this together... I managed to throw a few items in my little scrapping tote to attempt during my lunch break.  I knew that their colors were red... so how fitting when I saw I had some Cherry Chobbler Cardstock  already cut and ready to my tote!

So less than 1 hour, I got this accomplished:

excuse the nasty pictures - since lighting in the office really sucks - and it was with a cell phone..

 Have a great day!

CAS 5th Avenue

Clean and Simple... and elegant.

And its purple.. actually its Lavender Lace... or Lovely Lavender, I am still confused on what color it really is. Doesn't really matter, after July 1, it will be retired from SU!. I am getting what I can out of it now. Though someone did tip me off that they liked the color alot, so I might have to keep a stash and use as a birthday card or gift of another sort for her.

Ingredients:Stamps: 5th Avenue Floral; CS: Lavender lace; Ink: Lavender lace; rhinestones

Have a great day!

Bright color flowers - just add sunshine.. I mean ink!

Yes its another Just Add Ink color challenge!

I had a few visions, but I knew I only had limited time left, before the challenge was over!!!
HOORAY, THERE IS ONE MORE DAY LEFT!!!

This is what I came up with:

Its a Tempting Turquoise base card, with a So Saffron topper that not only is textured with the Daisies textured plate (Big Shot), but I used a scrapbooking template to put a curve on the saffron! I added flower blooms in the other colors using the Boho Blossoms punch. It came together fast and I like it! I did add alittle bling to the top & bottom corners and added a sentiment from FYI stamp set!

Please enjoy! Come over and play with us! Thanks for stopping by!

Polka Dot Fun

She is my favorite so far! I not only love the paper, but I love her look! It must be the color combo! I love black white red!!!! No mater what its designed. This is a simple look but I think she looks sassy... dont you agree? I closed her "peep toe" shoes by accident, but I like it! I added the flower on the bottom to draw the one in her hair out - whatcha think? You like? The rhinestone in the flower added the flare.

Like it? ...
Thanks for looking!
