Big Birthday Bakery!!!

To me - birthdays around the holidays sometimes suck! And I am born in March, so you know as the gift giver, its really difficult for me to decide - what to give/safe/whatever...

I know this with my Thanksgiving boy (11/23/1995) - he gets some gifts on his birthday & depending on when the actual day falls, to when Thanksgiving is, depends on his gifts... honestly, I think he might score better... since sometimes the stuff is on BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL... but I digress..

Here is the birthday that was suppose to be my moms birthday card (December 1) - however, at the last minute, I decided against it! Actually, I decided on something much COOLER!!! (I will show you later -stay tuned)

So here is todays card:

The colors were spun from My Create Ink -> HERE . I use this site and my Creative Coach (thru SU!) which is a great tool! I mixed Poppy Parade, So Saffron & Baja Breeze - with White. Not bad birthday colors!!! I used the boho blossom punch for the flowers and the hole punch for the center, in which I used Crystal Effects.

Have a great day & thanks for stopping by!

Awash with Pixie

I haven't used the Awash with FLowers set alot, but I am pulled to it.. it sits on my desk, looks at me (like that dare stack of GEICO money) and then it goes back on the shelf. NOT TODAY! I wanted to use the Pixie Pink that has been neglected for a long time... this was my chance! It went very nicely with the Shades of Spring DSP that is layered on the cardbase.

The recipient of this card confessed, all my cards are saved... HOORAY!!!! I loved hearing it, so now its like I have to be better then the last! LOL..

Take a look and let me know what you think...??

Stamps:Awash with Flowers
Cardstock: So Saffron, Pixie Pink, Shades of Spring DSP
Ink: Pixie Pink, So Saffron, Glorious Green(but its cut off when I rounded the corners)
Corner Rounder, Rhinestone Brads, So Saffron Ribbon, Textured Plate (big dots) Big Shot

Bella Bloom

Its been a busy weekend for me. One in which included me staring at a few perennials that have recently bloomed and try to figure out what they are! I planted them late in the season last year, but do not recall what they are!

Reminds me of todays card:

I like making the scalloped flowers. This uses So Saffon & Old Olive cardstock. The Bella Bloom stamp was one of the free SAB stamps!

Bright color flowers - just add sunshine.. I mean ink!

Yes its another Just Add Ink color challenge!

I had a few visions, but I knew I only had limited time left, before the challenge was over!!!
HOORAY, THERE IS ONE MORE DAY LEFT!!!

This is what I came up with:

Its a Tempting Turquoise base card, with a So Saffron topper that not only is textured with the Daisies textured plate (Big Shot), but I used a scrapbooking template to put a curve on the saffron! I added flower blooms in the other colors using the Boho Blossoms punch. It came together fast and I like it! I did add alittle bling to the top & bottom corners and added a sentiment from FYI stamp set!

Please enjoy! Come over and play with us! Thanks for stopping by!
