Unscripted Christmas extras

Just a few more Christmas cards that I made up so I had some on hand that pop in the house.

First I used some retired paper, and made a pointsettia with the build a blossom punch.

Second, I used the cute little snowman bunch for the sketch, kept it simple with only highlighting a few items on the men, and popping on some flower soft.

Skating Snowman

I have never ever skated a day in my life... ICE SKATING SCARES ME... why? I fell and broke my wrist when I was in 3rd grade while I was a birthday roller skating party... though I haven't totally overcome this action.. ICE JUST FREAKS ME OUT!    What is worse, is being someone who is an avid ice skater.. I guess when you grow up in Michigan and this is an activity EVERYONE does, you just do it... well, it looks like I have to TRY THIS, or not only do I have to hear all the name calling from HIM, but from the TEENS TOO!

I thought it would be cool to make a snowman ice skating, maybe he will also go on a scrapbooking page (depends if I get to take pictures or not).

This could be that last item I am able to showcase, if I am in a cast, sling, etc- due to my wonderful athletic ability!   Stay warm!

Luminary-- luminaria..?

As a little extra for my mom and grandmother, I made luminarias... or which ever "word" you prefer. I used the battery operated tea lights in the center. This caused my dear father some enjoyment since my mother has been burning some "wicked scent" lately he told me. I learned later that my sister got my mom a Scentsy.

Here is the luminarias - I made for giving.

Thanks for stoppin by! I will have some more punchy art later this week as we head into the new year, and I head to MI for the wedding!

Hope your holiday was delightful!

Hello... My name is FROSTY

Its beginning to look alot like...

OK ITS NOT .... but you know...

Its inevitable that it will arrive sooner than I want it to - since I am not a snow bunny of any sort. Sure I love to watch it fall... and snuggle in the house, with my coffee and loved ones, but then reality kicks in with hats, gloves, shovels and that once "pretty white powder" turns into ugly brown mush.. blah blah blah. I do consider myself lucky.. well up until last year when we had two major storms that landed us with snow that we had to measure in FEET - and that just caused me to lose it all around for my love of the white stuff!!!

Here is my little snowman (CASE from here) - looking up at the snow falling - imagine him twirling around in all the snowflakes, as they fall from the sky.. ..

I used circle punches (body, head), the owl punch (eyes, mouth), star punch (nose), snowflake punch (arms), some liquid applique (for puffy snow). I tore the white paper and sponged it with bashful blue ink. I popped his head up on a dimensional.

Thank you for stopping by!!!

He makes my heart melt

and with a whopping almost 40 degree here today.. EVERYTHING IS MELTING.. no complaints here!! It was next to nothing outside when I put this guy together. I like him alot. My punch characters help push the creativity when I cannot get 'inky'... that will only make sense to someone who is a stamper! Ha ha.

The envelope was tricky as was getting the right angle of the heart to use as the tab. I love it.
(sorry the flash light is on the CS)
Lots of Punches- 3 hearts, small oval, large oval, circle, 5 petal punch, snowflake, tag
Thanks for looking!

Brrrr ... its cold outside

WOW what a cold weekend! I wanted to get some Valentine like cards started.. but honestly it was too cold to make the attempt out to the shed for the paper and stuff, since we are still in remodelling mode. I did manage to put these cute little snowmen together... what goes better with the cold than CHOCOLATE. They are wrapped Hershey bars (and a special dark bar for the hunny of mine). I will distribute to some of the ladies at work.

Whats Up Wasabi...

If you don't follow me, than I regret to tell you that all my craft stuff has been put in storage until the 2nd week of November, due to home renovations that are happening and the painter is coming. I did find some paper that I didn't know I had stashed somewhere, when I was packing up my stuff.. so it was like Christmas already!!!!!

Here is a Post It holder that I did last year that accompanied some gifts last year for coworkers. I cannot express the love I have for Wasabi, I cried when it was discontinued, but smart enough to stock up.. now I have to be picky when I used it but anyways.... I did add thought you cannot see the 3D effects on the nose. But IRL its very cute !!! I was very pleased with them and still am!!!
Have a great weekend!
