Birthday Splash

| Playdate Cafe |
I used the Play Date Cafe Challenge with the black white and splash of HOT PINK, and it was sponsored by Twinery... they are fun! Its very useful no matter if you are making card, or box or food item!!
I love the stem of the Fabulous Florets in black, on white. Using the 5 petal punch for the 3d flower in Melon Mambo can just pop! I have 7 layers of cardstock that I inserted a brad to and then crumpled them up towards the top and slowly allowed them to fall down as they dried.
I hope you like! Simple and Clean! COme on over and play with the team at Play Date Cafe!
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by! Hug the ones you love!

Blooming flower
I added some Garden Green in the inside and then cut out the same leaf and added it to the front. Something tells me that I should dig around and make a few more of these.
WHO WOULDN'T LOVE A CARD LIKE THIS FOR THANKSGIVING?
Thank you for stopping by!

Pointsettia Gift Card holder
ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN...
..when not only do I have to figure out gifts for people - but for those that are gift card people - I want something cute to put them in! I really am at a loss for these sometimes... serving multiple purposes.. holiday card and gift .. you know the ones...
Tri fold gift card:
with belly band that will slide off and then you can open to see gift card and sentimentOpened for your viewing pleasure:
I textured the cardstock it with my Big Shot, the petals a plenty impressions folder
and scored my 3 x10 Real Red cardstock at 1 1/2 & 6. Made a belly band with scraps, as well as the gift card holder slot with 1 x 4 size piece. I punched out petals from the 5 petal punch in real red and wasabi green for the pointsettia. It came together pretty fast. Just the way I like my projects!!!

With Heartfelt Sympathy
My most fond Brian moment? The day it was raining and we went mud bogging in his buddy's Jeep. I hadnever laughed so hard in my life - jumping around in the jeep, as we are driving up and back these mountain paths that clearly were for 4 wheelers only. When we got stuck.. well you got out and pushed the Jeep out.. covered in mud, laughing your butt off you got back in and did it again. Until it was time to go home for dinner, and you had to wash the Jeep since it wouldn't be allowed in the driveway in that condition. Those were the days.
He made me laugh. He was the brother I never had, the one that my parents took under their wing and treated like their own. He made you think about the future. Brian had this sparkle about him that made you want to be his friend. He was Brian, too young to leave us, but forever in our hearts.
So as I wipe my tears, I bring you todays card. With heartfelt sympathy, in memory of my dearest friend Brian, who was such sunshine to my life, was the mechanic who could be paid in tea and food and who is missed by many...
CS:Eggplant, Old Olive, Sage, Whisper white

Three for Thursday...
Don't you just love this color? Its Bayberry! It reminds me of summer. It picks me up when I am down. Its makes me laugh. It just loves me... Its so versatile!
I made some notecards the other day. Cards that are blank that I can slip in my stash at the office for any occasion or tie up with ribbon for a quick gift.
Its the 5 petal punch with Whisper White. The scalloped edge punch also in Whisper white, added some Bayberry ribbon to the Basic Black layer, popped the flowers on and compete! I did use my Mat pack and pierced the flower inside. For the inside, I colored white brads Bayberry with a marker.I did it again with Certainly Celery.
And Elegant Eggplant
Have a great day!

Friendship means the world to me
I have a friend from HS who has arrived to the state for her sisters wedding. I will get to see her on Saturday, and though its been over a year since I saw her, and it was like 13 years before that, we always manage to pick up from where we left off. In leu of that occasion, I wanted to put together a little gift... Here is my card for her. I am still trying to figure out what exactly to put together for her, since she lives in AZ now, with two kids, I am thinking I will come up with something, afterall, I have until Saturday to complete!
5 petal punch with textured paper, crumbled and pressed out, rhinestone in the center.
